42 Years of Adventure!

Thank you Lord for giving me 42 wonderful years of life. You have been my pillar and I continue to live in you. I hope that you would allow me another 42 years so that I may continue to serve in your name. Thank you for all the blessings, challenges, and the lovely and not-so lovely people you have allowed into my life. They have all made this journey worthwhile. And most of all, thank you for giving me the chance to be a mother to the most wonderful son a mom could ask for. I pray that he will serve you all the days of his life.

Why are Some People so Cruel?

It was a challenging weekend. I pray for patience, guidance and peace. I am so tired of having to deal with challenging people. Lord, please help me carry this weight. Only in You will I triumph! Only in You I can trust. Please do not fail me.

How strange how the Lord talks to me. I received this from our Pastor here at Tripler who sends out daily messages. How timely!

Does it seem that no matter how hard you try,
you continue to attract the wrong people as your mate?
Perhaps this is because you have forgotten about the law of attraction,
which states, "What you draw to you is what you are!"
We continue to ask life to send us the right person,
the person who will make us happy or whole.
Under this request is the belief that we are unhappy or not whole.
In response, the universe brings us the person and situations to increase what we believe we are. See how it works?
When you focus on what you lack, you receive more of it.
When you speak about what you don't want, you create it.
The only way to attract and maintain a divine relationship is to be a divine mate.
You must be all the things you seek in another person.
You must nurture, support, embrace yourself, and you must enjoy your own company.

This song is So ME! On the outside, I appear so happy and content, but the sadness comes out the minute I walk into my lonely room. There I cry my heart out while I pray to the Lord for things that other people take for granted. Pure love , faithfulness and honesty - a relationship that will last a lifetime - something I have never known. I pray with all my heart and ask the Lord for that special someone every day. But then again, if he does not come, I shall serve the Lord all the days of my life. Doing good things for the people he sends my way. Keep the Faith - God is Good - All the time! I keep telling myself.

Can't wait to start the weekend! Hoping for a restful weekend, feeling a little worn down, but always keeping the Faith that everything will be well. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and all the pains with go away one by one. And one day, you can look back at your life and say, Wow, what a journey! Lived and learned, love and lost, but in the end - it was all worth it!

Smooth Sailing to Happy Love Filled Days!

No more bumps, no more tears, only tears of Happiness and Love! I proclaim in the name of the Lord that from this day forward, I will live in His love and care with all the blessings He had showered me with. Ninio is the BEST blessing I got and he continues to sustain me in my darkest days and LOVE me with all his heart! And I am thankful for being given the privilege to be his Mom:) I love you always and forever my Son!

Things Happen When You Least Expect Them!

Good or bad, things seem to catch most of us off-guard. This week has been awesome! I continue to be blessed in countless ways. The Lord does work in marvelous ways and I continue to proclaim his miracles in my life. I ased for a non-wavering faith in the Lord and that he continues to sustain. In many ways, he shows me His love, through my son, Ninio, and friends that surround me. When I least expect it, blessings abound! I sing Glory to the Lord, my God all the days of my life.

Enjoying the Peace and Serenity of Life

Had a very nice, quiet, and restful weekend. The 4th was uneventful - just stayed home. I hosted a family dinner for a Catholic priest who had just arrived from the Philippines, Fr. Sammy Rosimo from Santa Cruz, Ilocos Sur. He does not know anyone here so my auntie's made dinner for him at my house. Another blessing from the good Lord! God is GOOD all the time! He brings people into our lives to uplift us when we are at the brink of giving up. He lightens the load when things seem so weary. And He fills me with gladness for all His surprise blessings:) For I am weak, yet I am strong, because of what the Lord has done, so I continue to give Him thanks!

PEOPLE COME INTO YOUR LIFE FOR......

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done . The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on. Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season! LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Every encounter with you has enriched my life in ways unimaginable. You are someone that I will choose to meet over and over again, if given the chance. You have left such an imprint in my heart. Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were there for a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime.
